Apron feeders, AC series
AC series Apron feeders are extremely sturdy feeding machines, typically installed in primary units. They are particularly suitable in the presence of large sized material. They mainly consist of tracks, similar to those fitted on earth-moving equipment, with bolted plates made of a toothed apron and lower reinforcement. A set of track-sliding rollers, toothed drive wheels, driven wheels mounted on the shaft, supports, sliding bearings and transmission by means of a reduction gear unit and electric motor complete the equipment. In order to avoid losing fine materials, AC series apron feeders can be fitted with an optional scraping chain to be positioned in the lower part of the machine in order to collect fine materials. To adjust the capacity, it is recommended to couple a frequency converter to the electric command and control board.
