Drum washers, STB series

Drum washers, series STB, are used for washing aggregates based on the counter flow principle, with a double wash chamber. They are mainly composed of a drum with internal lining in anti-wear steel, in which forward blades, displacement buckets and material discharge buckets. The drum barrel rests on a set of rubber-coated metallic wheels, which are coupled with a dual reduction gear unit and a dual electric motor to generate the rotation of the drum itself. Series STB drum washers can be supplied with an optional vibrating separator to be positioned on the feeding side of the machine in order to process all the discharge waters and reject any light bodies (e.g. wooden pieces) present in the feeding material as well as with a basket made of perforated steel plate, to be positioned on the discharge side, in order to pre-screen and recover any material already usable that could be found in the feeding material.
